These ladies are amazing. They are so great with dogs. I just dropped my 2 dogs off and both of them were excited to be there and went willingly. That has never happened anywhere else.

We rescued our dog in 2018 and over time have found that she HATES anything to do with teeth brushing. We kept putting off a dental appointment because of the cost. After calling around for quotes, Prairie Winds had the most affordable option for us. They scheduled an appointment immediately and were prompt and thorough with pre-care questionnaires and instructions. We were told to arrive at 7:30 for drop-off. The person who came to get our dog was kind and answered all of our questions with a smile putting us at ease. A few hours later, we got a phone call explaining how everything went and giving us further instructions for pick-up and at-home care. When we picked up our dog, the staff was friendly and our dog's teeth looked beautiful. She seemed to be well taken care of and the final cost was exactly what we expected. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish and we will continue using them and recommending them for future services. Thanks PWVC for loving and caring for our pup :)

Can’t say enough great things about Dr Wisnewski and her team at Prairie Winds. She has taken care of both of my dogs; Dusty who lived 19 years (when she worked at Casselton Veterinary clinic) and then she provided care for Java when she was teaching at Moorhead Veterinary tech school when I got him from a puppy mill and he had Giardia When she started Prairie Winds she continued to car for Java the remainder of his 16 years. This clinic loves and cares for our furry friends and they aren’t afraid to think outside the box and use natural remedies as well.

Have been bringing my dog here since we got him six years ago. Vets are always top notch and Dr Kaufman is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain answers to any questions I have. Vet techs and front office staff work as a cohesive unit to get us scheduled and provide care at their respective levels. Only way they could improve their care is if they were on the north side of town lol.

We’ve been bringing our animals to Prairie Winds for over 15 years, and their care has always been exceptional. Recently, we had to make a difficult decision with our Fabio, and the kindness, empathy, and love from the entire team meant everything to us. They made sure his last day was truly the best it could be. Fabio thrived on attention, and that’s exactly what he received! He passed peacefully, surrounded by the amazing staff who showered him with warmth and care. His rehab trainer even came back after her shift to say goodbye. Prairie Winds has been a second home for our pets, and we are beyond grateful for their support. Thank you for everything you do!

I cannot begin to say enough great things about our experience at Prairie Winds. We were blown away by the expertise and CARE we received for our special girl Sparrow. The Vet Techs are extremely knowledgeable and so very sweet. The docs were incredible in their knowledge and no question was too small. We felt supported and cared for every step of the way through our pups surgery. Even her stitches (there is a lot!) were beautiful and neat. Communication was clear and concise and there was always time for questions or concerns. I appreciated the attention to detail from looking at our girls labs to the after care call to make sure her first night post surgery went well and if we had concerns. They created a friendly and warm environment that fostered complete trust in their care. Truly thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of Sparrow - you are all exceptional.

Dr. Alicia, the vet techs, and the receptionists are all fantastic. I took one of my cats to Prairie Winds about an eye issue. For almost 2 years they worked to relieve my cat's symptoms until the loss of the eye became inevitable. The surgery was done incredibly well and my cat has recovered very, very quickly. They all love him dearly and give him all the care and attention he needs when we visit. I recommend these vets, techs, and staff to anyone looking for great care for their pet in the Fargo area.

If I could give six stars, I would. We came over to Prairie Winds from our regular vet for specialty Dental care, and Dr Eric was AMAZING. Everyone we worked with (front desk folks, vet techs, Dr Eric), was kind and loving and supportive. They made us both feel safe and cared for, and made sure I understood all the steps of surgery for my senior dog. You never want to have to take your baby in for something big, but when you do, this is the kind of environment you hope you get to be in. So, so glad we found them. Thanks, everyone. Y'all are the absolute best. ❤️

I can’t say enough good things about Prairie Winds Vet staff and Dr. Eric Kaufman. My senior cat had to have dental work done due to dental disease & they got her in right away & did a phenomenal job. They are reasonably priced, very informative and extremely caring & kind. Dr. Kaufman was great at being gentle with her and explaining her condition to me. They checked in on my cat multiple times after her procedure and also called me with updates during her procedure. She’s doing great & is feeling so much better after getting 3 teeth removed and a dental cleaning. 10/10 recommend Prairie Winds Vet! We will be coming back for any future needs. Thank you Dr. Kaufman & staff :)
